What type of music do you make?
Afro pop/dance hall...i make good music...any kind of music that sounds good
What’s your stage name?
Yea....dejavoo
How did the stage name come about?
That from my real name,which is Adedeji...so my childhood friends named me dejavoo meaning..what happened in the past now happening again (dreams)
What’s your background?
Yea...background.....i was born in Lagos..grew up in ijebu-ode ogun state...i Have three siblings....I'm the first son of my family...given birth to a christian home...Mr an Mrs Akinwande
When and why did you start making music?
I started making music at the age of 13 ....in church in a choir
Do you play any instruments? If yes which instruments do you play?
Yea....I play drums
Which famous musician(s) do you admire? Why?
Wizkid....
Were you influenced by any old records & tapes? Which ones?
Yes...that was Wizkid first official album (superstar)...it really inspired me to make good music
What’s your most embarrassing moment as an artiste?
Wow....most embarrassing moment as an artist....that happened when the generator for the event I was performing got shut down
When was your first performance? How did it feel?
First performance....ooh...that's actually at Obafemi awolowo university (OAU) and I felt good about my performance
How do you handle mistakes during a performance?
So far I don't think I have any mistakes on that
Do you get nervous before a performance?
Nervous....nope never..i feel good and happy to perform when ever I'm on stage
What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?
For upcoming artistes my advise for them is that...they should be Harding working,prayerful...an fear nobody...also be focused
What’s your favorite song of all the songs you've released?
My favorite song of all song's I released ....that's 'love you' for now
What are you doing when you’re not recording?
When I'm not recording..I play video games...and play football....listening to good music
Most people complain about 90% Nigerian music sounding alike? What’s your take on that?
Yea...as I'm concerned...Nigerian songs are mostly alike because that what Nigerians really want...as for me..i make good music with different style
How do you balance your music with other obligations? Like relationship and family
Yea...i balance it equally...there's time for everything
What does “being creative” mean to you?
Wow..been creative....to me this is a way of bringing out your idea for people to see the good works you can do or what you can offer

Right now I'm working on my next singles and also have an EP I'm working on too
