BLAH BLAH

Okay so the device is compact and that’s the first thing that caught my eyes, for people who don’t know what a midi keyboard is, it’s a piano you can plug into your laptop to create music, it works like a mouse (Plug and play) , now some people are doing just fine without a Midi Keyboard, for example If you’re using  DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) like FL studio (Which i use) you can use the traditional keyboard on your laptop
to play sounds but you’re gonna be limited to certain keys and it won’t be as easy as using a MIDI, to cut the long story short the KEYSTATION MINI 32 features 19 white keys and 13 black keys

and the pitch of the keys can be changed by a single button on the device! How awesome is that?! On the device you have a volume knob, a sustain button the edit button PAUSE PLEASE!!! An edit button? YES! With means you can assign different features to the buttons *sigh someone please give this device an award already lol and the intensity of the volume is determined by how hard you hit the keys! okay moving on you have the Modulation buttons also, another amazing feature about this device is you don’t need a disk to install, it’s a plug and play meaning even when using your friends laptop you just plug it in and you can use it, now some other MIDIs aren’t stable on a flat surface cause of poor design but I must say M-Audio has really stepped up their game, this device is really stable so no matter how hard you hit the keys the device won’t move
and it’s really not that expensive, i haven’t tried the "iOS compatibility using the apple iPad camera connection kit" so i don't have anything to say on that  , oh and I almost forgot! The function keys light up when plugged in! lol I don’t know why that has been tripping me but its pretty cool

Now the real question! Does this device improve your music skill??
Errrrr Not really!

My reason is even if you buy the best MIDI around it still won't make you the next Dr Dre, if you don’t have the skill or talent already all this does is make your work faster and easier which might improve your music cause you spend less time finding the right keys and more time creating more sounds! Does that make sense?

Conclusion
It’s not compulsory to get this device if you don’t have the cash to get it at the moment, like I always say to producers ,it’s not the equipment that defines the music, but if you can get it then yes!

RATING
9/10
