I've been getting this same question for sometime now from a lot of upcoming artistes trying to get their name out there
Question: Hey Niyi how do you get your songs on so many platforms without paying?
and could you list some of your best sites for free upload?
So today i'll try my best to explain the benefits of uploading your songs on different platforms and also list out a couple
Lets get right into it
Uploading songs nowadays on popular sites cost money! and some times we cant afford it cause we all dey hustle and we know how things dey go but what if music is your only hustle and you need to get your songs heard, that's why we have these free site to upload but the downside to most of these free sites is they don't usually get the traffic you desire and by traffic i mean downloads or they don't hit the required region you want, imagine someone in Nigeria uploading on a site the only gets visitors from India and they can't relate to your songs..... but that isn't the end of the line, is it? no.
That's why i always recommend uploading to a lot of sites at once at least there's a higher chance of you hitting the required target
and another advantage is you get noticed quickly , let me explain what i mean, imagine an artiste uploads a song titled "Koko sugar by Naija boy" or something to all these free upload sites. when anybody searches for "Naija Boy" or "koko Sugar" your song will probably take up all the first page of the search and that's a big advantage anyway enough talk
