HOW TO SPONSOR YOUR INSTAGRAM/FACEBOOK POSTS

 

People familiar with my Instagram page or Facebook page usually come up to me asking how I sponsor my posts on the platform and I tell them its easy, try to explain but they insist on me showing them or writing it down in this post we’ll get straight to the point.

Instagram and Facebook ads are quite similar, in fact one could say they are the same thing but I have noticed slight differences, I’ll try to keep this as simple as possible, if you have more questions after this feel free to drop a comment

 

So how do I sponsor my posts on Instagram?

 

1.  I upload my picture or video first, make sure you have less texts in either and more visual content (Instagram algorithm seems to prevent text based ads from reaching a wider audience)

2.  After uploading the picture or video (Content) you want to use if the content is promotable you'll see a blue tab underneath the post that says "Boost Post or Promote" Click on that

3. You'll get a page asking you to select a goal for your AD choose the appropriate on that best fits what you're trying to achieve

4.  Now you'll be directed to a page asking for your target audience , the age group, location or interest you're trying to reach 

5. Next page will an overview of all you've selected and an estimate of how many people you'll reach , look through it you should see a tab "Payment" click that and fill what you're convenient with, your method of payment

Now you can boost/promote your posts like a boss, the more you keep promoting, the more you'll understand Instagram algorithm and types of content that gets the right attention, this same format is quite similar to Facebook also, just a minor tweaks here and there but with a little patience and understanding of this post you should be able to maneuver your way.
